Tatl is saurian Nagai Merchant in pursuit of the fabled Headpiece of Thoth. He is a playable character in the Aesir Chronicles: BREAKOUT (video game).

Biography[]

Merchant Tatl is well-known throughout the land for his collection of ill-gotten small artefacts and priceless relics. Seeking the legendary Headpiece of Thoth, a lost saurian heirloom, his quest leads him to the Feline Matriarchate capital city of Midgård. He has deep connections to the Raven Syndicate trade guild and maintains a lawful front, carrying a little concern for the “provenience” of his items. [1]

History[]

Pre- Great Race War[]

Tatl is sent by his superior Czheeva to recover the Headpiece of Thoth from Midgård and to meet a local contact, Gray 55-27 who has more information of his quarry. Having arrived on Midgård, Tatl is revealed that the Headpiece is in possession of an alfheimian exile. Before more is revealed however, the Great Race War begins. [2]

Battle of Midgård[]

Their mission effectively over, the duo finds themselves stuck on the canine sector and quickly decide to set up a shop to make their ends meet. It soon becomes apparent, that the canines are more interested in looting their items than paying for them. Towards the end, the felines attack the besieged unclave and Tatl makes a run for it to the canine transport, only for it to be shot down in mid-flight. [3]

Battle of Midgård aftermath[]

Captured, Tatl is more than willing to make do with the situation and accepts Skuld's offer to hunt her certain items of interested, if he were to compete in the Breakout tournament. [4]

Breakout Games[]

Captured towards the end of the opening battle of the Great Race War, Tatl is approach by Director Skuld and offered to seek out valuable items for her in exchange for his partipication to the Breakout games. [5]

Appearance[]

A snake-like Nagai merchant, Tatl carries an outfit well-suited for his native desert & swamp environment, consisting of light leather coverings with several bandolier-like belt across his lengthy body with a large backpack, along with multiple utility pouches. At his arms are two metal clasps

Personality & Abilities[]

Dishonest and experienced Merchant, he knows his customers well and always has a riveting story for the acquisition of his goods. [6]
